SAN DIEGO!

Thank you, Aubri, Logan's new wife, for being from San Diego. I had been looking forward to this trip and their wedding for a long time and the whole thing did not disappoint. As with most trips, I only wish we would have had more time - especially to see more of our friends in SoCal.

We did, however get to see Beth, Derek, and Piper. They live only 5 minutes away from where we were meeting the rest of my family, so it was perfect. They kindly let us crash at their house - and fed us wonderful food! - for the day and a half before the rest of my family got in town.

They showed us around their area and we spent a morning at the beach, which was so wonderful. Piper and Tate rekindled their friendship and we had a great time together.

I just love these kids + dads. We have this same picture when these kids were newborns in the hospital and I kind of want a kids + dads picture every time we see them.
Piper and Tate played really well together...even reading a story together in bed. Cu-ute.

The next day we went to the Mormon Battalion exhibit in Old Town San Diego and met my parents there. We had a great time and Tate loooooved the "panning for gold" and other hands-on kids stuff they had there (and, let's be honest, Matt and Grandpa also looooooved it).
