This party also allowed me to make some fun crafts. I made the heart on my mirror using tissue paper poms (stolen from the cover of Martha Stewart).
I did a hot chocolate bar. This is taken after people had eaten, so it's a little messy. The toppings included homemade and mini marshmallows, whipped cream, pirouettes, a variety of chopped candy bars, red hots, and cinnamon sticks.
I also made some mini cupcakes - vanilla bean cupcakes with swiss meringue buttercream frosting. If you're willing to spend a reeeeeeaaalllly long time mixing both the batter and the frosting, I'd really recommend these. I also made apricot brie bites.
Votives made using my fave Martha glitter. See? Isn't it just better -- more fine? more sparkly? I love this stuff.
And just some shots of the gals while we opened our new favorite things. I just think I have really cute friends!
I love this photo of Jolene explaining her love for KwikTrip, the gas station:).
I loved throwing this party so much that I think I'm going to make it an annual thing.PS. Props to Matt who endures my party prep and took these photos.
