1. bundled up for winter and endured at least two full on snow blizzards in addition to freezing temperatures and more snow. Why do I live here?
2. made a few homemade Christmas gifts. These molded crayons were my favorite.
3. celebrated the opening of our most favorite store in Rochester (and subsequently ate way too many Candy Cane Joe Joe's -- you know how that goes)!
4. decorated for Christmas, which included this felt circle garland that I made to go up the stairs. It made me so happy every time I passed it.
5. Endured 6 1/2 hours on a plane with a 14 month old for a flight that is supposed to only be 2 1/2 hours. Tate is pounding on the windows saying, "Let me ooooouuuuut!"
6. celebrated Christmas in Salt Lake with the Gardners, though we took a shamefully little amount of pictures.
7. moved the garbage can from the floor to the counter top. The mean mom of this household decided that retrieved banana peels are not for eating and that our remote shouldn't live amongst carrot peels and wrappers.

love the update. thank you aliss! those crayons are so adorable. i'm going to have to remember those. also, when can i please see you? i guess now that amy and andy are moving to minnesota i have lots of good reasons to take a trip out there.
Love it. Since when do you get a trader joes in the middle of no where and we don't have one near us in Fort Lauderdale? That's bogus!!!

I loved this post. Glad you have a Trader Joes. Saw that you read My Life In France. Just finished it and loved it. You guys are just a cute family. We wish you warmer weather. :)
