Not Dead...

We're not dead, but we've been in Utah, Nevada, Illinois, Michigan, and we're finally in our new place, Minnesota. Pictures of the adventures coming soon.

Tate is getting FOUR teeth right now, which is making unpacking all sorts of difficult.

By the way. Did you know I live in a corn field? Basically, I do. You can decided how you think I feel about that.

One more. I was at Target yesterday and looked at school supplies for no apparent reason. You can also decide how I feel about that.

Welcome to your new home! Okay, it sounds like it doesn't quite feel like home yet, but give it time and it will grow on you. And by time I mean at least 2 years. That's how long it seems to take until it feels like you'll really be uprooting to leave. You may not love the corn field part, but the friends and familiar faces and places and memories made will make it feel like home sweet home. A different home sweet home than what you're used to, but a good one. Miss you!

YO. Have you seen the movie Signs? You know, the one where the alien things are living out in the corn fields and they jump out and try to kill you? Or maybe you've seen Children of the Corn?

Warning: Nothing...NOTHING good ever happens in a house surrounded by a corn field at night.

Miss ya biotches!

Well, I think you know how I feel about the corn field AND the school supplies. I just did the same thing the other day at Target, just before Jacob came . . . why are we doing this to ourselves? :) BUT! I would say that the bright side of things is that you could make it easily to a Target from your new farm house (kidding)- so at least it's not AS corn-field-esk as it could be. I could be worse. AND don't forget that cute Oliver thought he was in a forest when we came to help you move into your invisible moving truck, so at least your little guy will know what trees are.

Good luck! We miss you!
