I asked many of you, my faithful blog readership, to contribute "Happy Birthday" pictures and I printed them and made them into a birthday garland. He loved it and felt very much like the birthday boy. We went to dinner and to Ghirardelli for sundaes and to celebrate with friends. Happy Birthday, Matty Bumpo.
This is one of Matt's favorite babies, who sometimes makes grumpy faces. We're hoping our baby is as adorable as he is!
Jeff and Caitlin came down from Evanston to celebrate. I didn't tell Matt that friends were coming to join us and he was so confused as to why Jeff and Caitlin would come downtown on a Monday evening since it's less than convenient for them. It took him a second to catch on...
Darren gave Matt a chocolate bar coupon since they share a love for chocolate.
Beth and I are due two days apart, but she looks like she's about 6 months pregnant...one benefit to being tall. It's been fun to do this whole pregnancy thing with her. We're hoping to have a date at the hospital some time around November 6. :)

The garland was such a great idea, it looks awesome, and like a lot of people love Matt.
Oh and that baby...Probably the cutest baby I have EVER seen. I know that he is lucky to have such a good friend like Matt, even if he is 30!

And can I just say that we are so excited to hear when this little one comes! We are so excited for you guys! Just a few more days, Alissa. Enjoy feeling him move inside you.
