Oh, what do you do in the summertime?

Isn't that a song? This is just a quick run down of my goings-on after Greece. Coming home from vacation can be a real let down, but we've been keeping busy with summertime things. Someone needs to remind my why I work. I love not working so much more! (Oh, yeah...we're poor. And, I should say I really do like my job...I just like not doing it for awhile!)

Once again, these are in backwards order of how they actually happened.

Trip to Springfield, IL to see the Lincoln sites. Matt and I both read Team of Rivals so we went to see the land of Lincoln. Me (another "bump" picture, for those curious) at his house when he was working as a lawyer in IL:

We also went to his law office, the Lincoln museum - which is a really fantastic museum - and saw an outdoor production of The Civil War the night before.

Matt at a Frank Lloyd Wright house in Springfield. This house has the most original FLW furniture and glass (windows) in the world. It was GORGEOUS. I keep telling Matt to get rich so we can buy an FLW house. He says no; they are money pits.
Did you know there is a Gardner, IL?
Lincoln Park farmer's market with our favorites, Jeff and Caitlin. Cait is pregnant, too, but you can't tell. I swear, you can't tell on anyone but me.

Annual family trip to North Carolina! This was after our awesome "Beach Cup." My team always loses. I claim pregnancy this year.
So, that's what I do in the summertime. We're off to Michigan this weekend to enjoy some sailing, hiking, canoeing, swimming, sunset-watching, and making s'mores! I know it seems like all I do is play, but work starts up soon and then I'm having a baby, and then I'm going to be a working mom, and then my life is gone forever....

(I suppose I'm being slightly dramatic.)
