Lucky!

We have no idea how much longer we'll live in Chicago (could be four months, could be forever), so I told Matt we had to go see the St. Patrick's Day parade and dyed river. Chicago really does its holidays right. Halloween is HUGE, the city is beautifully-decorated at Christmas, and then they dye the entire freaking Chicago River green just for all those Irish. I love holidays!

My favorite part of the parade was this poor green dog.

The neon river was actually more interesting than the parade. Jason and Alicia were our St. Patrick's Day buddies.
Very Chicago: a green river and the Wrigley Building.

St. Patrick's Day was a beautiful, spring-time day and today it's snowing. I've had enough!

Did you see Obama take that Chicago tradition to the White House? Love it.

And maybe Chicago forever?

Chicago 4Eva, as they say in the Southside.

And I also agree about the crazy weather; it's uncalled for and ridiculous. I am sincerely disgusted by the snow. Enough I say! Spring, get your butt here!
(Sorry for the tirade)

Remember when we ran into you downtown? That was awesome.
