Arts and Crafts was always my favorite activity at camp and I think I thought I was good at them or something. I'm not. I did have my foray into scrapbooking that lasted several years and did meet some successes. (I think I might quit scrapbooking, though.) I got a sewing machine for Christmas and I plan to learn to use it to make many great and wonderful things. Over the Christmas break, I attempted the following crafts:
You can't really tell from this picture, but we glittered wooden stars and hung them from this funny key-hole arch in our apartment. They looked so festive!

With all of my gazillions of scrapbook stuff, I made thank you cards for parents who helped in my classroom and for Christmas gifts. I think I made 25 in total. It took two and half movies of work to get these guys done.

Hooray for judging how long a task takes by the number of movies it takes to get it done. Many a job in my life has been done that way.
Welcome back to blogging ;-)
You need to give yourself more credit. You're super crafty! Your apartment looks like a lot of fun. Is that Chinese on your cards?
I loved my handmade thank you card. I want lessons. Thanks for posting a picture that I look good in. :)
It was so fun seeing you guys over the holidays. I loved chatting with you. I like the stars-they do look very festive. That keyhole arch is very cool as well.
I'm impressed. I see all the fun crafty things that people do on their blogs and I have come to terms with not being crafty! I need a hobby. :)
