The Wedding of the Year (or lots of years)

Summer and Matt are MARRIED! We have all been praying and waiting for this day for a long, long time and it was wonderful. It was the happiest day; I was tearing up from 7 am when we woke up to do her hair until 9 pm when everything was over. Below are some (well, a lot of) pictures that Matt took.

The happy couple coming out of the Salt Lake temple.

Matt put on a little show and kissed Summer on the stairs. He quickly lost his balance and they almost fell down the stairs -- it was hilarious!

Almost down...

Isn't my sister gorgeous?!

Utah in July is H-O-T. Summer's friends brought us Creamies (sold only in UT, I think) to help us cool down during the photographing.
By the way, my parents are home from their mission! Three years was a long time and I'm loving having them back in the country.

Matt and Summer with his gramma. I love this picture.

Mom, Bree, Collin, and my very new nephew Felix.
Dad with his new son-in-law. 5'6 and 6'6, respectively.
I really love my sister!

The dinner was at Red Butte Garden and it was BEAUTIFUL. I don't have pictures from it, but I had a blast running around and seeing people. I got to be in on the planning of the wedding, so I was sort of in charge during the day and loved it. I really think I have a future in wedding planning!

Congratulations, you two!

It has been way too long! I'm glad you are enjoying Chicago. And how fun that Caitlin is moving there with her husband! Gina and I just made it back to Alex 2nd ward for a girls weekend visit. Too much fun and lots of new people. I miss those good old times!
