I thought this sounded like a fun thing to do right now.

Thanks to Shana, you will hear more about me, assuming you decide to read this.

5 things on my to do list

1. Go grocery shopping for the ingredients for a recipe out of my new vegetarian cookbook.
2. Write thank you notes to some very gracious people.
3. Write a lesson plan about the Constitution and send it in to the Bill of Rights Institute.
4. Read more of Everything is Illuminated.
5. Meet Kelli at the gym.
(can you tell I’m on summer break???)

5 Jobs I have had
1. Cashier person at a scrapbook store (incidentally, my best friend Amber worked at the only other branch of the store, and we didn’t meet for two more years until we met at BYU)
2. History teacher
3. Dance camp instructor
4. Administrative assistant at my dad’s company
5. Judge for dance competitions

5 places that I have lived
1. Minneapolis, MN
2. London, England
3. Kansas City, KS
4. Alexandria, VA
5. Hartford, CT

5 Favorite snacks
1. Apple
2. ANIMAL CRACKERS
3. Handful of chocolate chips – or many handfuls
4. Handful of Wheaties with raisins
5. Sugar snap peas

5 things you may not know about me
1. I eat at least one apple every day of my life. Yum.
2. I do not have a full toenail on either of my pinkie toes. It’s just a little baby nail that kind of curls. I admit that it’s a little gross.
3. I sort of want to gain 100+ pounds and then go on the Biggest Loser.
4. I can pop the following joints: finger knuckles (two ways), both hips, knees (two ways), elbows, neck, toes (two ways), both shoulders (two ways), and I think that’s it.
5. I rock myself to sleep.

5 things I would do as a billionaire:
1. Enroll in the Learning Sciences Master’s Degree program at Northwestern.
2. Fund and teach in a school in the Congo. Someone else would have to be the principal and run the place; I don’t do that.
3. Buy a pair of Tory Burch flats.
4. Pay cash for a house that Matt designs.
5. Choose a family living in the projects and buy them a house in a nice area (so their kids can go to good schools), two practical cars, and fund major expenses such as college degrees so they can better support themselves. That would change their entire family for generations. And one of them would go on to be the Secretary General of the UN, or something equally cool.

5 things I LOVE
1. Dancing, dancing, dancing in my living room.
2. Smelling day lilies – I often get the yellow pollen on my nose.
3. The yearly vacation to the Outer Banks with my family and our “second family.”
4. Playing Pounce (aka Nertz – a group speed card game).
5. Mint double-stuffed oreos.

5 people that I have tagged
Oh, I don’t know. I think everyone and their dog has done a tag, but if you aren’t everyone or a dog – go for it!

Yea! North Carolina! I can't wait. I actually didn't know that you ate an apple everyday.

you make me laugh out loud.

and anyone you had ever lived with would know about the abundance of apples you eat due to the apple stickers that can be found EVERYWHERE in the house!

I had no idea that you lived in KC, Kansas? Did you know my husband Matt is from KC, MO? We are moving back there in 2 years. What brought you to KC and how long did you live there? You know what maybe we did talk about this ages ago.

We also love the outer banks. I hope that we make that a regular vacation spot for our family as well.
