Get Down Tonight

Over Spring Break, my sister turned 30. Throwing parties is one of my favorite things. Ever. So, I decided that we would celebrate the decade in which Summer was born - the 1970s. I required costumes from all attendees, Matt and I made some killer food, we jammed to 70s tunes, and played a 1970s trivia game. Far out, baby.

The group in our 70s costumes. I am wearing one of my mom's dresses from high school. It was actually pretty cute -- and itchy.

The sibs...little Logan joined us to show off his spectacular 70s get up.

The happy almost-weds. Summer and Matt (yes, my sister is also marrying a Matt)

...And me and my Matt getting groovy.

If anyone wants me to throw them a decade party, let me know! I would really like to throw a 50s party complete with poodle skirts, bobby socks, and a soda fountain! Anyway, Happy 30th to Summer!

I was born in the 80s, but I'm totally game for a 50s party.

I am also one that loves to plan parties. We just did an 80's party and it was totally rad. Maybe one day we will plan one together:)
