Non-summer

I sort of feel like we had a non-summer because so much time was spent inside nursing/figuring out a newborn, rather than, say, swimming. Looking back on these photos, though, I realize our summer wasn't a total bust.
My good friend Briana - who moved to VA - and Nina.  I miss this girl!

Tate was thrilled to "drive" the bus of one of the farmers market vendors.

We were addicted to the Olympics - and this is the only photo we got of our addiction!  Every night, I would feed Nina and she would fall asleep on the boppy.  And every evening Matt would carry her up to bed like this, being mindful of my warnings to not drop my baby.

One thing Rochester has right: parks.

Getting together with Alisa and the Harrisons in Minneapolis!  And finally meeting baby Olivia.

Amber was in town, so Nina and I ventured up for a day of fun with Amber and Alisa.  Love those favorite girls.

Matt's parents and brother Geoff came to visit (more photos coming later, I hope) and they were real sports to indulge Tate in all of his wants and whims.

One - ONE! - day spent at the beach.  Boo.  But it was a really fun time, especially because Nina girl slept the entire time!

Caitlin and Jeff & Co. spent the night with us on their way to Minneapolis.  So fun to meet baby Sam.  Can't get enough of those guys!

And there you have it - kind of lame that I can fit in photos from an entire summer in one post.  We did a few more fun things, but that's pretty much it.  Next summer, though, we're going hog wild.  Nina doesn't even know that fun that can be had in the summer time.
