Kissins Song

The entire month of December could be summed up with Tate asking for "Kissins Song" (translation: Christmas song; translation again: "Hark the Herald Angels Sing:). The little guy sure got into the Christmas spirit and we had a wonderful holiday season. We spent Christmas in Cincinnati, after driving 12 (! - yes, that is how much we love them) hours driving. My whole family was there and we could not have had a better time. Love the family!

We went to the Children's Museum and saw (among other things) the enormous train display. Felix and Tate really loved it.
We all made Christmas gingerbread houses. Mine and Summer's was the cutest. Matt's (gingerbread porta-potty) was the most detailed.

The grandkids got PJs from Nana. Believe me, this is the best picture of them all.
Matt got into the Christmas spirit by playing cars with Felix and building this awesome track with Collin.
I got together with friends from high school -- it's been years since I've seen a few of them! I also saw my good friends Teneill and Heather and squeezed in a too-short hang out with my favorite Amber.
We wrapped up the holiday season with a low-key New Year's with our favorite Tom and Andrea. Who knew the Newlywed Game was so fun?The first week of January is always a bit of a let down. This year, though, I made New Year's resolutions which I intend on keeping.

Hey! Fun to see a picture of Tom. It's been years. I guess it's been years since I've seen you guys, too, but not as many years and it doesn't feel that long since I'm a regular M&A blog fan.

Alyssa, I think I've mentioned that I shamelessly like to copy you. A long while back you mentioned that you took an online design class. In your (and Matt's opinion) is Illustrator a necessity for basic graphic design? I design everything I do on Photoshop, but that's because I know how to use it. What do you think?
