We went to the firehouse open house, which we thought he would love. He was terrified of the trucks until my dad put him up there (they've always been buds like that). He was then thrilled to "drive" and put his hat on.

And then a week later, Summer, Matt, and kids came to visit us. We did lots with the kids, but here we all are at our church's Halloween party.
We had to show them the apple orchard -- for a long time Maren was following Tate trying to put the hood on his sweatshirt on him. He just kept walking and eating his apple.
Matt and Summer made a delicious torte for Matt's belated birthday.
So fun to have so much family visit us this fall! We know it won't happen very often, so we lapped it up. Come again! And, for that matter, come one, come all!
