A decade (!) ago, these girls all came together in Hinckley Hall at BYU for our freshman year. There is something so wonderful about being with people who knew you before you knew yourself. After a
whole lot of emails, a group of ten girls came together for a weekend in UT to reunite for some crazy dance parties, wonderful conversations, and a whole lot of togetherness. I love you, my friends.
Here we are during our junior year of college -- most of us lived together after freshman year in different combinations.

On Friday we went shopping (duh) and to the temple. Here is one of the carloads.

And then to Pizza Factory. I love this picture of Am and me. What is this? American Gothic, Pizza Factory style?

That evening, Jenae and I threw a baby shower for our FOUR pregnant friends. I decided on a wild things theme and Jenae made an adorable (and delicious) cake and cupcakes.
Our little preggos. We had such a great time celebrating these girls and their sweet babies and talking about being a mom. I have so much to learn from these incredible moms!

I tried my hand at making a pinata and came up with this fringed little guy. Since he was filled with peanut butter cups, he got a pretty good bashing.

I'm not really sure what made us think we were still 18, but the first night we stayed awake until 4 am and then next nights until at least 2 am. To top it off, we ate candy and associated junk food until the wee hours. I was really so, so tired by the end of the weekend. I think we all realized we're too old for that. Kind of sad...or maybe just smart?

On Saturday morning, I led everyone in a work out, including a little dance routine that they totally rocked. I wish my classes were always like this!

We had to pay respects to the place that started it all -- we shopped at the BYU Bookstore and visited Helaman Halls.

Of course, we got Cafe Rio and FROZE eating at Rock Canyon Park. This picture brings back a funny memory -- Janelle and Marianne, remember what we were talking about here?!

We also met up with some of our other freshman friends from BYU. SO FUN to see them.
We went ventured over to the game, but first I stopped by to visit Tori and my new little niece, Grace. She is adorable and I'm so glad I got to see them for awhile.

The game was awesome - we acted like freshmen again - dancing and trying to rekindle an old romance.

Sunday was filled with talking to Ralph and Teresa, who hosted us for the weekend, and gleaning all sorts of wisdom from them. We also spent a sizable chunk of time singing Les Mis and Phantom.

We mostly did a lot of this all weekend. I am so grateful for the time spent talking, reminiscing, and making new memories.

Thanks to the Beechers and to the Gardners, I was able to have a Tate-free weekend. I soaked up every second that I could spending time with some of the girls I love the very most. Thanks for making it happen, everyone! See you in 5!

Ok first of all- what a fun trip and a great idea! I love it and I'm jealous of the pizza factory breadsticks. I also love your pinata but even more the smashed pinata pic. And you rock at workout classes, if I could get myself signed up for the gym, I would be in your class- but it's still a goal of mine to decide if I should join or not :)
