The Wright Way

I have to include a few pictures from our weekend in Wisconsin because it was completely rad. Beth and Derek arranged for us to meet up with some other Chicago friends - Jenae and Clayton, and Laurie - in Two Rivers, WI to stay at a Frank Lloyd Wright house. It did not disappoint. Matt and I have been to our share of FLW houses and the home was really beautiful -- we loved it!

Our little crew on the river side of the house...we spent lots of time on the porch enjoying the gorgeous back yard.
The main room. Matt's camera broke, so we didn't get great shots of the other rooms.
I sort of can't believe they allowed crazy toddlers to stay there, and Tate and Piper had a great time running around.

All of us at the ice cream shop that birthed the first ice cream sundae.Tate and Piper kissed all day. Seriously -- we told them to do it once, but then they were all over it, leaning in and everything, for the rest of the evening. Cutest thing ever. What began as a totally stressful weekend with leaving our very messy and unfinished new house, turned out to be such a great weekend with good friends, food, games, in one of the more beautiful homes I've ever stayed in.

Just so you know...only you would be able to have a little one in a WRIGHT house and not have anything broken. My tornado would have destroyed in a heartbeat! What a beautiful place to stay...so jealous! Miss ya tons....love reading all the posts!!!
