Catch-all

I've been busier than a one-armed paper hanger (this is a phrase my aunt uses and it cracks me up). I haven't blogged in awhile, which is fine since this blog really is of no importance. But, I finally uploaded some photos, so here we go.

Matt's sisters got home from their missions in February and came to visit us in April. Hooray!

Foggy day in Millennium Park - Matt and Meg.
The new aunties trying to figure out how to take a picture with Tate. His hat needed adjusting, they were both trying to hold him and the entire thing was very awkward and hilarious to Matt and me.
Happy Birthdays! Matt made lemon chiffonne (sp?) cake with raspberry whipped cream. Delicious.
We hit up the new modern wing of the Art Institute and I really enjoyed the Matisse exhibit. Tate liked it too and was admired by the art patrons.

In other news, the babe is 6 months! He refuses rice cereal and pukes every time he eats it. We're trying bananas this weekend. Please bless that if he throws up, it's on Matt. He is kind of a little kid - in terms of percentile. His head is 10th percentile and Matt is nervous this is indicative of his general intelligence.

In still other news, Matt is working in Evanston on a contract job and I'm plugging away at school. Only four more weeks! I've also converted to the joys of working out at 6 am and then rushing home to shower, get ready and feed Tate all in 45 minutes. It's an adventure which couldn't be accomplished without Matt making my lunch for me. What a great househusband.

ha ha. We really do look horribly awkward with little Tate in that middle photo. I enjoyed that trip ever so much. Thanks again for the fun!
