Christmas this year was wonderful. My family hasn't been together for Christmas in 5 years and we haven't had Christmas in Cincinnati for 6 years! I was feeling ready for some good old Christmas at "home." Christmas this year was different, though, now that we have the addition of three grand kids. Lots of babies, lots of fun: (As usual, these photos are in backwards order and I'm not going to fix it.)
I found Matt and Tate like this when I returned from shopping. By the way, this is how Matt sleeps. He always covers himself with the sheets! I swear he is going to suffocate some day; he swears he's not. But, isn't Tate cute?

My mom got the grand kids matching overalls. Here is Maren looking cute at the camera, and Tate looking worried (in other pictures, she's sort of attacking him. Maybe that's why).

Gran and cutie Tate:

Auntie Amber came to meet her pseudo-nephew.

Maren on Christmas morning. The butt of her jamies says "Naughty" and she was getting into the wrapping paper like is was Disney Land.

Grandpa with the three little ones. No one loves babies as much as my dad, and with it being Christmas and his birthday, he was pretty happy with this present.

Tate's Christmas jamies came with this reindeer bib that's as big as his head...which is difficult because the kid has some serious cheeks.

Gingerbread houses are a tradition. This genius general store was Matt's and mine. Well, really Matt's, but we were partners and I did write General Store in candy and I added the garland on the poles.

Logan and his cute girlfriend, Ashley, did the Victorian house.

And Collin and Bree impressed with this modern architecture.

So, there's our Christmas. Back to reality. Except, my reality of being on maternity leave is pretty sweet. Get a paycheck; coo at my baby all day long. (Don't worry, I'm doing a little more than that.)
