Christmas Music

Here I am, making some of the Thanksgiving dinner (a day early -- I'm such a Martha. Ha.) and rocking out to Christmas Music. A few things in that regard:

1. Today I didn't have school, so I watched Oprah at the gym. She is giving away a Christmas album that you can download from her site for FREE. And they're good songs! (Faith Hill, Aretha Franklin, Harry Connick, Josh Groban, etc.) It's for 48 hours total. Hop to it.

2. I am a lover of Christmas music and would like your suggestions of Christmas albums that you feel are especially wonderful. I have Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Josh Groban, MoTab (the one I want, at least), the Elf, and some mixes. Let me know!

Thanks for the tip, Alissa. I love Christmas music! I have become especially fond of Frank Sinatra Christmas and, of course, the Charlie Brown Christmas cd.

I really like Jon Schmidt's Christmas album. It's good for Sundays. Also, since I was raised on it, Johnny Mathis. Nothing is Christmas until I hear that guy singing, "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!"

You must get the Elvis Christmas album and the song Have Yourself a Very Merry Christmas by Coldplay.

Thanks for the intel on Oprah... I just downloaded it. :-)
As for Christmas music:
I put a Christmas mix on my blog just so I could feel like I wasn't so far from home these days....

I don't know Lynnie-- but I HEART Johnny Mathis songs too. I was raised on him...and so it just isn't Christmas without his songs playing.
